Aishwarya Rastogi takes charge as SP
Nellore: Aishwarya Rastogi assumed charge as District Superintendent of Police (SP) at District Police Office (DPO) here on Wednesday. Earlier, he received guard of honour from the forces.
Interacting with the media at his chamber, Rastogi said that he would strive for implementing friendly policing in the district. The new SP informed that he would be available to the public round-the-clock for resolving their problems.
Rastogi stated he would give reply to any query sent by the public through WhatsApp and resolve it immediately. He mentioned that he would continue ‘Dial Your SP’ programme being organised on every Monday and receive grievances.
“I would strive hard for welfare of the police personnel in the district. Police officials and other staff members can also post their issues on Varadhi app for quick response,” the SP said.
Rastogi further said that he would focus on regulation of traffic, property offences, chain snatching and other issues in the district. He informed that he had worked as Assistant Superintendent of Police in Narsipatnam, Anantapur and also in Visakhapatnam rural districts.
Rastogi also said that he had come to know several issues of Nellore district much before taking charge. Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) P Parameshwar Reddy and other police officials were present.
