KGGH development panel clears works worth Rs 22 crore

Kakinada: The Kakinada Government General Hospital (KGGH) development committee meet was organised at Collectorate here on Tuesday. Developmental works worth Rs 22 crore were cleared in the meet. Speaking  on the occasion, District Collector Kartikeya Mishra said that development activities will be taken up to meet the  needs. The meet cleared the allocations to various activities. These include Rs 4.79 crore for firefighting equipment, Rs 2.86 crore for development of electrical facilities in gynecology and OP wards. 

In addition to this, Rs 3.5 crore for development of amentias, Rs 3.62 crore for provision of waste treatment amenities, Rs 1.5 crore for trauma care and other development activities were allocated. HDC members Dr S Chandrasekher, Dr MV Anand, Badam Madhava Rao, Dr Prabhavati and B Venkata Ramana Murti and KGGH superintendent Dr M Raghavendra Rao, Ranga Raya Medical College principal Dr R Mahalakshmi and others attended.
