Pat for CM’s Cup winning team

Rajamahendravaram: Adikavi Nannaya University (AKNU) students proved their mettle in interuniversity tournament ‘CM’s Cup-2018’ held recently and bagged CMs Cup in volleyball. The AKNU team won the final match at Krishna University. The university Vice-Chancellor Prof Murru Mutyala Naidu congratulated the students and said the university students brought name and fame to the university by getting CM’s Cup.

Earlier also, the students participated in many state and national-level tournaments and proved their might. The university was encouraging the students to participate in tournaments and arranged a sports board in this regard and provided basic facilities relating to sports and games, he added. He advised teaching fraternity to inculcate the habit of playing sports among the students. The students also spare some time every day in this regard, he said. Sports Board director Dr KS Rao and others were present.
