Sathya Sai Seva Organisation organises mega medical camp in agency area

Visakhapatnam: As part of the 93rd Birthday celebrations of Sri Satya Sai Baba, a free mega medical camp was organised by Vempalanagar Bhajana mandali of Peda Gantyada Samithi of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation at Gadugupalli village of Hukumpeta mandal in the agency on Tuesday.

The medical camp was organised with the support of Gayatri Vidya Parishad Medical College and Visakha Eye Hospital while 500 sevadal members of SSSO Paderu made the arrangements.  Treatment was given by senior doctors and paramedical teams for over 1600 villagers including infants in the areas of Ophthalmology, general medicine, gynecology and Dental with   laboratory tests. 

Around 500 sets of Amrutakalasams, sets of essential commodities with 23 items, valuing each one Rs.3,000, were distributed to the tribal families on the occasion. Later, 'maha narayana seva' lunch for over 10,000 villagers was arranged by the SSSO.

S G Chalam, AP president of SSSSO, inaugurated the camp. District presidents of Visakhapatnam, Paderu and other office bearers were present. Later, Sai Madhura Vahini Orchestra rendered soulful bhajans making the place vibrant.
