ACB raids on Social Welfare Deputy Director’s residences

Nellore: Sleuths of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) conducted simultaneous raids on the residences of the Deputy Director (DD) of Social Welfare (SW) D Madhusudan Rao at Nellore, Hyderabad, Guntur and Ongole on the allegations of possessing disproportionate properties. 

The ACB sleuths found Honda Accent car and Maruti Swift car on his name. Madhusudhan Rao is also having G+1 building in Koritepadu, and a residential house in Panduranganagar in Guntur town; one residential plot in Guntur town and 4 open plots in Guntur district on his wife’s name. 

ACB officials also found Rs 1 lakh cash, 750 grams of gold worth Rs 25 lakh and 1.5 kilogram of silver worth Rs 50,000 during the raids.  

Dasari Madhusudan Rao had entered government service in 2004 and worked as DSWO in Chittoor, Krishna and also in West Godavari districts. 

ACB officials booked a case and arrested him.
