Nrityabhinaya contest for Swachh Sarvekshan held

Ongole: As part of creating awareness on sanitation and cleanliness in Ongole town and to prepare the public for the Swachh Sarvekshan 2019, the Ongole Municipal Corporation conducted the Nrityabhinaya Competition at the NTR Kalakshetram in Ongole on Sunday.

The teams of dancers participated and performed for various songs, but with the theme sanitation. 

The teams from Dreams, Apex, Gayatri, PVR and other high schools and also from the Siva Sai, Sri Sai, Colours and other dance schools also participated in the competition. 

The Ongole theme song ‘Ongole Velugutondi’ received much applause from the public and the audience.

Municipal Commissioner Sankranti Venkatakrishna announced that the winners would be given prizes and certificates in Swachh Awards Distribution Ceremony soon. 

The municipal engineer, Sundara Ramireddy, DE Bhaskar, AE Ramu Naik, AMRUT project UIE B Bhargavi Devi and other municipal staff also participated in the programme.
