Mega Grounding Mela gets huge response

Parvathipuram (Vizianagaram): As part of Adarana-2 programme, the mega grounding mela (MGM) held at divisional-level evokes huge response from the beneficiaries of different groups. The division-wise event held at Parvathipuram and Vizianagaram has pulled nearly 5,000 beneficiaries from all the mandals.

The event was inaugurated by Minister for Mines and Geology RVSK Rangarao at Parvathipuram and distributed 900 units for the beneficiaries of different corporations. Rangarao distributed farm machineries like 24 tractors, 600 tarpaulins, 100 oil engines, 100-foot sprayers besides 33 acres of land through NSTFDC land purchase scheme to tribals in the ITDA mandals. The Rs  14.56 crores assets were grounded from ITDA alone.
The event was attended by the MLA B Chiranjeevulu and MLC D Jagadish.
