Give implements for horticulture crops by Dec, officials told

Eluru:  District Collector K Bhaskar has directed the officials to finish the distribution of sops and implements to farmers of horticulture crops by December. 

He reviewed the progress of horticulture sector with officials here on Wednesday.  Speaking on the occasion, he said that good results could be realised if the officials work with proper planning.  

However, some officials lacked the enthusiasm affecting targets set under the sector, he lamented.  

Referring to the oil palm target of covering an additional 3,335 hectares, the Collector questioned the officials for failure to keep ready the necessary plantation material.
