State aims to construct 19.50 lakh houses under NTR Housing: Minister K Srinivasulu
Chirala: The minister for rural housing, I and PR K Srinivasulu announced that the state governemtn has put a target to construct 19.50 lakh houses under the NTR Housing scheme.
He reviewed the ongoing works of NTR Housing and conducted a review meeting with the housing officials and beneficiaries in Desayipet of Chirala assembly constituency, on Sunday.
The minister said that the state government is giving priority to construct houses for the poor.
He said that the government made arrangements for the construction of the houses with Rs 8600 crore budget, and ordered to complete them in a speedy manner.
He said that the officials has given a target to construct 82434 houses in Prakasam district and in them 34639 houses have already completed.
He appreciated the Chirala MLA Amanchi Krishnamohan for his commitment to get 25000 houses for the constituency.
He announced that Chirala is the in second position in state with maximum numbers of houses being constructed under NTR housing.
He said that they are constructing 1000 houses in 28 acres at Vivekananda Colony in Desaipet.
The housing project director Sainath Kumar, Chirala municipal chairman Ramesh, Vetapalem MPP Tirumala Devi, municipal commissioner Fazululla and others also participated in the programme.
