Surveyor lands in ACB net
Visakhapatnam: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths on Wednesday trapped a surveyor of Devarapalli mandal while accepting a bribe of Rs 3000 for doing an official favour at Tahsildhar’s office, Devarapalli mandal in the district on Wednesday.
According to the ACB officials, the tainted officer was identified as Lochelli Samuel, working as mandal surveyor at Devarapalli tahsildhar’s office. The complainant Ramu Naidu of Pedanandipalli village of Devarapalli mandal along with his brother approached the tainted officer for e-passbook and digital survey reports processed for one acre each of agricultural land, which is inherited from their mother.
For which Samuel had demanded a bribe of Rs 3,000. Vested with the attitude of Samuel, Ramu Naidu lodged a complaint with ACB. Acting on the complaint, the ACB sleuths laid a trap and arrested him with bribe money of Rs 3,000 at his office.
