AP Joint Action Committee demands implementation of 11th PRC recommendations
Vijayawada: The Joint Action Committee (JAC) of employees, teachers, workers and pensioners State chairman P Ashok Babu, secretary Chandrasekhar Reddy and Ch Joseph Sudheer Babu said that they would stage protests in all the district headquarters on December 28 demanding that the State government implement the recommendations of the 11th Pay Revision Commission (PRC).
Speaking to mediapersons here on Friday, they said that the government should give interim relief immediately as when pay revision committee yet to present its report.
They also requested the government to conduct special session of the Assembly to discuss Compensatory Pension Scheme (CPS) to withdraw the same as was done by the Delhi government’.
They also asked the government to pay notional increment to the special teachers. They said that ex-gratia should be paid to family members of contract and outsourced staff after their demise.
They further said that retirement age should be increased from 60 years to 62 years. Promotions should be given to the VROs and the government should provide Arogyasri cards to the contract staff.
They said that they gave a call for Chalo Guntur demanding scrapping of CPS and they would participate in nationwide strike for two days. They also demanded that the government should withdraw cases booked against the employees for participating in agitations during the State bifurcation.
