TANA Chaitanya Sravanthi for promoting Telugu language, culture

Vijayawada: Telugu Association of North America (TANA) president V Satish said that they would conduct various programmes starting from December 23 to January 12, 2019 across the state under ‘TANA Chaitanya Sravanthi’ programme for promoting Telugu language and culture.

Addressing the media on Sunday, Satish said TANA was working for the welfare of Telugus in both the Telugu-speaking States. He said that TANA was involved in rejuvenation and protection of Telugu language, tradition and culture since a few years.

He said that they are conducting Rythu Kosam TANA awareness programmes about the use of pesticides and fertilisers to the farmer community besides creating awareness on the language and culture. 

He said that TANA is distributing modern agriculture kits free to the farmers for the safety of farmers’ health. 

He said that digital classes in government schools, workshop, bulls show/race and other cultural programmes will be held in Gurajala, Vijayawada, Tadepalligudem, Madduru, Tanuku, Bheemli, Madugula, Kurnool, Kothagudem, Khammam, Hyderabad, Macharla, Sattenapalli, Ongole, Tirupati and other areas of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States. 

He released the schedule of TANA Chaitanya Sravanthi programme on the occasion.
