Ball badminton tourney from today

Vijayawada: The Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi has entrusted to Krishna University the responsibility of organising All India Inter- University Ball Badminton Women Tournament for the year 2018-19 held at SDM Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala here from January 9 to 13.

The organising secretary Dr N Srinivasa Rao said that the inaugural function will be held on January 9 at 3.30 pm followed by oath taking ceremony in the presence of ministers Ganta Srinivasa Rao, Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao and Kollu Ravindra. 

K Damayanthi, Principal Secretary, Higher Education, R Venkata Rao, Secretary, AP Ball Badminton Association will be present.

The Krishna University team players are: K Mounika Rani, A Madhavi Latha and V Satya Janaki from SDM Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala, Vijayawada, M Sravanthi O Sailaja and G Sravani from Dr LHR Government Degree College, Mylavaram, P Rihana Begum and D Aparna from Vikas College of Physical education, Nunna, D Anjali from Dr Zakir Hussain College, Ibrahimpatnam and B Teja Sirisha from Vijaya College of Physical education, Nunna.

Organising committee members V Ravi Kantha, Dr R Raghu Ram, Mural Krishna and others were present.
