Happy Sunday entertains public in Ongole

 Ongole: The Ongole public enjoyed the morning with the special programmes on the occasion of Happy Sunday and Anandalahari arranged at Pothuraju Palem of 16st division by the Ongole Municipal Corporation.

The youth, children, and adults irrespective of men and women actively participated in the musical chairs, tug of war, caroms, ring, chess, puli-meka, lemon in spoon, snakes, and ladder, shuttle badminton as part of the Happy Sunday activities. 

The artists of Bharatanatyam, folk, western dance, cultural, folk and cine songs mesmerized the public with their performance.

The masters and students from various dance academies in the town and others performed to the tunes of popular numbers. 

The officials and local leaders including the municipal Commissioner Sankranti Venkata Krishna, assistant city planners K Venkateswarlu, Z Sudhakar, DE PV Sunil Kumar, and others also participated in the programme and distributed the certificates and prizes to the children and youth for their active participation.
