Civic chief M Rama Rao inspects biometric attendance

Vijayawada: Municipal Commissioner M Rama Rao inspected the staff biometric identification process under the limits of 17th, 18th and 21st sanitary divisions here on Monday.

He monitored the working staff attendance and ordered the concerned officers to cut the salary of staff who were absent.

Addressing the sanitation workers, he said that VMC had provided all the necessary materials to the workers to keep the city clean. 

He said that everyone should work sincerely in their allotted divisions. He sought to know from the sanitary workers whether the residents were accustomed to separation of dry and wet waste or not.

He also inspected the sanitation maintenance from Prakasam Barrage to Gannavaram airport.
