Padma Rao inaugurates sewer pipeline works

 Boudhnagar: Excise and Prohibition minister T Padma Rao Goud inaugurated the sewer pipeline works at Boudhnagar, here recently. Worth Rs 18 lakh, the renovation activities would take place near the SMR Complex and Warasiguda. 

The minister also undertook a Padayatra at Kanaka Durga temple lane, L Narayana Nagar and Amber Nagar to know the grievances of the residents. Corporators B Dhananjay Bai, Samala Hema, Heads of various government departments and senior TRS party cadre participated in the event.

During the course of the Padayatra, Rao instructed officials to increase time duration for releasing drinking water in the area and also spoke to the police personnel to curb all kinds of suspicious activities keeping in mind the safety of the residents.  

He also asked the GHMC officials to reconstruct the roads to prevent accidents in the area. Speaking on the occasion, Rao said, "From ensuring ample water supply in every house of Boudhnagar to providing employment opportunities through Job Melas, the state government assures each of its citizens that it will stand by them in every hour of need."
