Inner wheel club adopts five birds at zoo

Bahadurpura: In what can be termed as music to the ears of the zoo authorities, the Inner wheel club, Secunderabad adopted five birds (Peacock’s white) and presented a cheque of Rs 20,000 towards adoption. Poonam Sood, President, Inner wheel club along with members of the club met the Nehru Zoological Club curator Shivani Dogra and completed the adoption procedure.

Shivani Dogra said Inner wheel club has been for showing keen interest in adopting the birds for the third consecutive year, thereby strengthening wildlife conservation programme in the zoo. She also appealed to the citizens to come forward in more number towards the adoption of animals in the zoo.
