41 vechicles seized in Cordon and Search Operation

Gajwel:  Cordon and search operation was held under the limits of Gajwel police station on Sunday. Under the supervision of Siddipet Additional DCP Narsimha Reddy with 75 police personnel by the orders of the Commissioner V Shiva Kumar. 

The search operation was conducted in BD Colony area and the police seized 33 motorcycles, 6 autos, 1 car and 1 tractor without proper documents under Motor Vehicle Act. A water treatment plant located in the area was also seized by the police as it was not certified.

The DCP said the motorists should carry driving license, registration certificate and pollution certificates with the vehicle as legal actions would be taken if the motorists do not produce the required certificates according to the Motor vehicle Act against the violators. The impounded vehicles will be handed over to the owners only if they submit the proper document, mentioned the DCP who said the cordon and search operation was conducted to make sure there were no illegal activities, criminals and vehicle thefts in the area in order to make villages crime-free. 

Landlords should not rent their houses to unknown persons without any identity proofs and if anyone found loitering suspiciously, locals should immediately alert the concerned police, said the officer. Gajwel In charge ACP Mahendar Reddy. CI Prasad, Rural CI Shivalingam, Thoguta CI Niranjan and Sub Inspectors of Gajwel, Thouguta, Mulugu, Gauraram, Jagadevpur and Kukunoorpally and staff took part in the operation.
