215 units cleared under new industrial policy: Collector

Vikarabad: District Collector Omar Jaleel on Wednesday said that under the new industrial policy of the Government of Telangana – TS-iPASS 215 out of 260 applications received to set up industrial units have been cleared so far. 

Reviewing the progress of industrial development with officials at his chambers, he said that 103 units are on stream in the district and 16 more are under the pipeline. A sum of Rs 4.87 crore has been disbursed as industrial subsidy to 53 applicants. At Mudra mela, Rs 22 crore towards advance has been disbursed to 1087 bank accounts and Rs 19.67 lakh has been sanctioned towards loan to two beneficiaries.
