Constable suspended, booked for extra marital affair

Cherial: A police constable associated with Maddur police station in Siddipet district was suspended and booked for having extra marital affair with a girl after his wife lodged a complaint with Cherial police on Friday. 

According to the Commissioner of Police D Joel Davis, Gudelli Ramesh was working as police constable at Maddur station with number 3903, and belongs to Maripeda mandal of Mahabubabad district. He married Mamatha who belongs to Bhavujigudem of Mahabubabad district, in 2006 and have two children with her. 

While working at Maddur, Ramesh developed relationship with a girl called Anusha, who belongs to Rangadhampally village of Siddipet mandal, and maintained the illegal relationship with the girl which lead to frequent fights with his wife Mamatha regarding the same. In the process, wife of Ramesh went to her parents’ home with the two daughters. 

Meanwhile, constable Ramesh was living-together with his lover Anusha by renting a room at Cherial. After coming to know about her husband’s illegal relationship, Mamatha caught Ramesh and Anusha red handed and complained to the Cherial police who registered a case against the constable under IPC Section 498 (A) and 497 with Crime No. 89/2018 following the investigation and suspension of Ramesh from his duty by the CP on Friday at Cherial police
station.
