Cordon and search operation held in Thoguta
Thoguta: As part of its efforts to ensure crime-free villages and also as part of its community policing initiative, the Thoguta police team headed by Commissioner of Police, Siddipet, D Joel Davis conducted cordon and search operation at Thioguta village on Wednesday. The cordon and search operation took place in early morning around 5 am.
Speaking on the occasion, Commissioner said that the main intention of the cordon and search is to ensure crime free villages. He urged the people to inform any unknown persons found and let us know if any illegal activities happen in the village. He also urged the all peoples’ representatives, community leaders and villagers to help to install Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras so finding of culprits become easy.
As many as 80 police personnel participated in the cordon and search operation. Additional DCP (Law and Order) Narasimha Reddy, CI Niranjan (Thoguta), CI Parusharam Goud (Dubbaka), CI Prasad (Gajwel) and other police personnel took parts in the operation. As many as 93 vehicle including 87 motorcycles, six Autos were seized which did not have proper documents.
