Minister assures RTC staff of timely salaries

Nampally: Backward Classes (BC) Welfare Minister Jogu Ramanna assured timely salaries to employees at TSRTC BC Employees Welfare Association’s second State level meeting held at Indira Priyadarshini Auditorium here on Friday.

Addressing the meeting, Jogu Ramanna assured to discuss employees dharna scheduled on May 7, implementation of quota for BCs in RTC and other issues with Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao at the earliest.

Bhongir MP Boora Narsaih Goud said that RTC employees played major role in Statehood movement. The MP urged the employees to put pressure on Central government to implement reservations in RTC. There is a conspiracy to remove the reservations, he alleged. TSRTC chairman Somarapu Satyanarayana assured that he will fulfill the demands raised by the employees. The chairman appealed for team work to develop the corporation in all fronts. State BC Welfare Association president Jajula Srinivas Goud demanded quota for BC employees in promotions.
