100 new couples receive Kalyana Lakshmi cheques

Secunderabad: Following the state’s proposed Kalyana Lakshmi and Shaadi Mubarak schemes, Minister of Excise and ProhibitionT Padma Rao Goud gave away cheques of total Rs. 75,000 to almost 100 beneficiaries. 

The programme was attended by corporators Samala Hema, Alakunta Saraswati, Bhargavi, Vijayakumari, Sailaja, Mushirabad MRO , Suguna, Marredpally MRO and other officials and leaders. The beneficiaries include 17 from Boudhanagar, 16 from Tarnaka, 40 from Addagutta, 13 from Mettiguda and 14 from Sithaphalmandi.

With real concern for the public, he visited houses of all beneficiaries to hand over the cheques in order to avoid the mediators between the government and the beneficiaries.
