Traffic awareness drive at Jubilee Hills Public School

Jubilee Hills: A Traffic Awareness Programme was conducted at Jubilee Hills Public School by SIs N Srinivas, V Kantha Rao and their team from Traffic Police Station, Jubilee Hills. The aim of the programme was to generate awareness over traffic rules and regulations and safety. 

The students of Classes 8, 9, and 10 participated in the programme. Explanation regarding traffic rules and how to follow them was done through a presentation. The traffic police explained as to why it was utmost important to abide by the rules and regulations such as walking on a footpath, taking safety measures like wearing a helmet on a two-wheeler, wearing the seat belt in the car, following a queue system where necessary.

Emphasis was laid on the importance of taking care during monsoons where the roads become water logged. The students were asked to traverse cautiously in the the area. In case the road has to be used during rains they were suggested to carry a stick to check the depth of water on the street. The Academic Director asked the students to keep the rules and regulations in mind and abide by the same for their safety.
