Action against Jr Lecturers’ Assn president sought

Hyderabad: The Telangana Employees’ Joint Action Committee for Justice on Wednesday petitioned the Special Chief Secretary – Education, demanding action against president of the Junior Lecturers’ Association P Madhusudhan Reddy for ‘resorting to intimidation and blackmail’ of Intermediate Education department officials, ‘when his selfish interests were not fulfilled’.

Committee leaders Md Ismail, V Praveen Kumar, Chitram Yadagiri, Dr AA Khan, Ravinder, Srinivasa Rao in the petition recalled that Commissioner of Intermediate Education Dr A Ashok had lodged a complaint to the government on Reddy’s blackmailing tactics. The leaders alleged that since then Reddy has been levelling ‘false’ allegations against the department officials and ‘misguiding the government by securing paid news coverage’.
