Naini Narsimha Reddy flags off 3rd batch of Haj pilgrims
Hyderabad: Home Minister, Naini Narsimha Reddy, accompanied by Deputy CM Mohammed Mahmood Ali on Thursday flagged-off the third batch of Haj pilgrims. Also present on the occasion were AK Khan, advisor to State Government (Minority Welfare), M Dana Kishore, Secretary of Telangana State Minorities Welfare Department, Chairman Wakf Board, Md Saleem, Haj Committee Chairman, Mohammed Masiullah Khan, Special Officer Prof. SA Shakoor and other officials.
Speaking on the occasion, N Narasimha Reddy requested the pilgrims to pray for all round development of the state and the people. Mahmood Ali said that the Government was taking measures for the all round development of minorities, particularly the Muslims in the state. He said that that all facilities were provided to the pilgrims. He requested the pilgrims to pray for welfare and development of the country, nation and the state and for promoting harmony, integrity and peace.
