MLA Vivekanand advises students to turn good
Qutbullapur: Local legislator K P Vivekanand on Monday advised students of Patel High School to study well with discipline as to become tomorrow’s able citizens and come up in life. ‘You should bring a good name to parents’, he told them while speaking as the chief guest at an awareness programme organised in the school.
The MLA praised the school students and the management representatives for creating public awareness on segregation of garbage. He advocated the need for using jute bags, in place of polythene and plastic covers, for protecting the environment. Later,Vivekanand explained the significance of the ‘Haritha Haram’, being taken up by the State government as a prestigious programme, to both students and their parents. He called upon everyone to take up plantation of saplings as a movement and protect them. He distributed saplings to them.
