Congress charges RDO with playing politics

Peddemul:   In view of the mandal Pradesh vice-president elections scheduled on Thursday, Congress has issued a whip. When the Congress leaders have gone to the RDO office to deliver a copy of the whip, the office was found under lock and key. Accusing the RDO of playing politics, the Congress have decided to lodge a complaint with the state election commission.

According to reports, in the Mandal Pradesh president elections held in 2014, TRS got five seats and the Congress nine. With the help of four MPTCs who have crossed over to the TRS, Vanisri became Mandal Pradesh president and continued in the post for over two and half years. Narsamma of Congress who crossed over to the TRS later became the Vice-president. 

As political strategy would have it, last month Vanisri wasmade to step down as president and vice-president Narsamma was elevated to the mandal president post. Therefore,Peddemul vice-MPP elections are scheduled for Thursday. The congress leaders question how the responsible officer is not available 24 hours before scheduled election.
