Security tightened at Cherlapally Central Prison

Kapra: Security tightened at central prison of Cherlapally on Monday, as a special court in the prison premise was supposed to deliver judgement on twin blasts at Gokul Chat and Lumbini Park in Hyderabad. The court adjourned the judgment to September 4. 

Kushaiguda ACP Krishna Murthy along with CI Chandrashekar, SI Chandrashekar created three-tier security at the prison. They also deployed police personnel in large number in the surrounding areas of it and main junctions in the vicinity. Relatives of the inmates were thoroughly checked before sending them to ‘mulakhat’. Vehicles were also checked.
