INTUC demands govt to solve workers issues
Khammam: Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC) state general secretary RD Chandrashekar stated that the Union always stood first in solving the issues of field assistants, supervisors (Metlu) and labourers.
The representatives of the INTUC took out a bike rally from Warangal crossroad to Sanjeeva Reddy Bhavan here in Khammam on Friday demanding the government to solve problems of working section.
Later, a meeting was organised to study issues faced by agricultural workers in the district under the leadership of Union district president Kotha Seetharamulu here at Sanjeeva Reddy Bhavan.
Attending as a chief guest to the meeting, R D Chandrashekar said as per the orders issued by the national president of INTUC G Sanjeev Reddy, meeting would be organised in every district to study issues of agricultural workers present across the State.
“The INTUC always stood first in solving issues of working sections till date in the State. It is going to take up massive movements after analysing the problems in every district, demanding the government to solve them,” he added.
Union State vice-president G Mohan Reddy said Union members should go to villages to find out the problems of workers and take steps for solving them. He urged everyone to participate in coming up membership verification programme to place INTUC on top.
Union leaders Bhaskar Reddy, S A Jaleel, Narasimha Rao, V Deepak Naik, Md Y Pasha, S K Khaza Mohiuddin, P Venkateshwar Rao, L V Bhadram, B Hanumanthulu, Vasantha Rao, M Srinivas, T Narasaiah and G Seetha Malakhsmi were present along with others.
