Woman crushed to death under wheels of tipper at Aler

​Bhongir: A woman was crushed to death under the wheels of a tipper on Tuesday at Aler in the district. The deceased was identified as Kallem Sony (20), native  of Lingala Ganapuram in Jangaon district.

According to Aler Sub-Inspector of Police Narasimhulu,  Kallem Sony and her husband Kallem Goparaju were working in Hyderabad

The couple on Tuesday, while going to their native place from Hyderabad, stopped their bike at a coconut vending shop. After having the coconut water, when Goparaju starting the bike, all of sudden a speedy tipper, belonging to L&T company hit the bike. In this incident Sony fell on the road and her husband fall on the other side of the road. The tipper ran over sony. She died on the spot. 

On information, local Sub-Inspector Narsimhulu rushed to the spot and took the truck driver into custody and shifted dead body to local government hospital for postmortem.

Knowing the information of death of Sony in road accident, kin and kith of the deceased reached Aler and staged protest demonstration at Aler high way and demanded compensation to sony family and stringent action against Truck driver. After Police counseling the protestors withdrawn their demonstration.
