Health scheme for girl students launched at ZPHS in Suryapet

Suryapet: Minister for Energy G.Jagadish Reddy  on Friday inaugurated the girls students health coverage scheme ( Balika arogya Raksha Pathakam) designed for girls students ( adolescent girls)  studying in the Government educational institutes in a programme held at Zilla Parishad High School in Suryapet.

As a part of the program, along with Suryapet Muncipal Chairman Ganduri Pravallika, he distributed health and hygien kits to the girl students of the school. Speaking on the occasion, he informed that 24,746 girl students of 317 government schools located in the district would get the health and hygiene kits at free of cost.

Health kits would be distributed to the students four times in a year. The government is spending Rs 1,600 per student per year, he added. He informed that as a responsible CM, KCR has been taking care of girls from birth till their marriage.

In this program, Rajya Sabha member Badugula Lingaiah Yadav, JC Sanjeeva Reddy, district library chairman N.Srinivas, education department officials Shilaja, Glori, school HM Padma, RDO Mohan Rao, tahsildhar Mahamood Ali and school students werepresent. 

Meanwhile, Government whip,  along with DEO Rohini Aler MLA Gongidi Sunitha launched the Arogya Raksha Pathakam at ZPHS in Aler In Yadadri- Bhongir district.
