Kurnool: In a setback to Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister KE Krishnamurthy's son Shyam Babu, the Dhone court here on Friday directed the police to include his name along with two others in the chargesheet of YSRCP Pathikonda in-charge Cherukulapadu Narayana Reddy murder case.

It may be recalled that Narayana Reddy was murdered on May 22, 2017, by unidentified assailants in the district.

Narayana Reddy's wife Kangati Sridevi filed a petition in the court seeking the arrest of Shyam Babu and two others. She raised objection over the way Shyam Babu had exerted pressure on the police and investigating officials to remove his name from the chargesheet.

Narayana Reddy's wife also sought the court to include the names — Aspari ZPTC Kapatrala Bojjamma, the then Veldhurti sub-inspector Naga Tulasi Prasad, as accused in the murder case of her husband.
