Man strangles wife to death for dowry in Hyderabad

In a shocking incident from Hyderabad, a man killed his wife at his residence in Maheshwaram. The accused, K Vittal married Aishwarya one and a half year back. Four months into the marriage, Aishwarya was being harassed by her husband over dowry.

She went on to register a complaint with the Shamshabad police.

Later, the couple was sent for counseling and were asked to stay together. However, things didn’t change as Vittal continued to torture Aishwarya for dowry. On Monday night, Vittal strangled her with a dupatta killing her on the spot.

He was arrested and a case has been registered against him on the grounds of harassment and murder.

Aishwarya’s family are demanding stringent action against the accused.
