Telangana TDP leaders on Monday met Governor ESL Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan and presented a memorandum seeking the governor to intervene in the matter that AP CM N Chandrababu Naidu has been issued a non-bailable warrant. The leaders also appealed to the governor to take up the issue with Governor of Maharashtra.

The arrests warrant have been issued to the CM along with 16 others in connection with the Babli project agitation in 2010 by the Dharmabad court last week.

In the non-bailable arrest warrant, the court directed the leaders to present before the bench on September 21.
