CM inaugurates Padipeta Housing Colony

Tirupati: The Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has inaugurated Padipeta Housing Colony at Tirupati rural mandal. He also distributed documents to beneficiaries of CJFS lands. 

The houses were built under basic services urban poor scheme if JNNURM initiative. Total 3216 houses were completed and distributed to the beneficiaries drawn through lucky dip. Tirupati Municipal Corporation has took Rs.100 cr loans from HUDCO for the purpose. These were started in 2008 but stopped subsequently due to various reasons. 

After bifurcation of the state, the government has decided to complete the project in 2015 and called tenders. Works started in 2016 and completed the construction in 18 months. Ministers N Lokesh, N Amarnath Reddy, P Narayana, officials and people's representatives took part.
