Rakesh Reddy confessed his offence in Chigurupati Jayaram's murder case?
The prime accused in NRI Telugu industrialist Chigurupati Jayaram's murder case, Rakesh Reddy has confessed before police that he has killed Jayaram. Andhra Pradesh Police higher officials yet to confirm this.
According to police sources, on January 29, Jayaram came to Hyderabad from US, then Rakesh called him and asked about the Rs 4.5 crore which he had taken from him as loan. He told that he had taken that amount to pay the salaries of Tetra Polylens employees from him.
Later Rakesh took Jayaram to his house in JubileeHills road number 10. Argument occurred between them and Rakesh bet him in anger. Since Jayaram was a cardiac patient he was died on the spot. In confusion and tension the accused kept the body in his house only till evening and later shifted the body in a car to Nandigama Police station limits and absconded from there. He boarded the bus to return to Hyderabad.
He alleged that Shikha Chowdary cheated him on the name of love and marriage, believing that he had spent lakhs of rupees for her. He said that Jayaram also agreed to pay that amount also to him but failed to repay the amounts.
