Recreating the divine stories

Shilparamam Arts, Crafts & Cultural Society organised weekend cultural activities in its premises over the weekend. The cultural events began with Bharatanatyam recital by Bangalore-based dancer Susmita Suresh. Her performance on 'Shrungara Lahari’ and Thillana mesmerised the audience with her great dancing skills.  

Later disciples of Priya Padmanabhan from Swara School of Classical Music rendered various songs. The team was accompanied by Ananya Srinivasan (Violin) and Lalit Kumar Bargav (Mrudangam). 
     
In the end, Kuchipudi dance recital by disciples of Sridevi from Mayuri Kuchipudi Nrutyalaya performed on ‘Nartana Ganapatim’, ‘Mahadeva Shambo’, ‘Aananda Thandavam’, ‘Vachenu Alamelu Manga’ and more. The Mayuri group enthralled the audience with their spellbinding performance.
