Anxious customers flock to Telangana Grameena Bank

 Moinabad (Rangareddy): The depositors of the Telangana Grameena Bank (TGB) were a worried lot after a scam surfaced in the Moinabad branch. 

On knowing that the cashier at Moinabad had swindled Rs 8.94 crore, depositors rushed to know about the fate of their hard-earned money. Many customers rushed to the bank to enquire about their deposits and hoped that their money would be safe.

Meanwhile, the CBI reportedly took cashier Jaipal Reddy into custody. He surrendered to the Moinabad police on Monday. Several bank officials are being questioned about the scam.
