Telangana to comprise seven zones: Great Tidings For Employees, Jobless

Hyderabad: The zonal issue which has been irking employees no end has finally been resolved by the State government which on Thursday decided to create 7 zones and two multi-zones. The move will enable existing employees to get promotions early as well as provide job opportunities to the youth in their native districts. 

Interestingly, six zones have been named after Hindu Gods and one zone is called Charminar Zone. Announcing the new zones at a review meeting on the recommendations made by a Cabinet Sub-Committee, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao said that the new zonal system had been formulated to benefit the employees, by undoing the injustice meted out to them in the united state.  
         
The CM said that the decision on new zones was would provide adequate benefits to those living in their local areas and resolve many an issue that cropped up in the wake of formation of new, small districts. He said that a dire need was felt to reorganise the existing two zones after the reorganisation of the districts so as to remove administrative problems and solve those of employees, too.      
 
The Chief Minister asked senior officials to hold a meeting with employees’ unions on Friday and come up with suggestions, if any, to strengthen the new zonal system. Taking into consideration all the suggestions and views, the government will prepare a detailed note on the formation of zones. 

After the cabinet approval, it would seek Presidential nod for the creation of new zones.  He assured that he would personally monitor the entire process and ensure the new zonal and multi-zonal system comes into effect at the earliest.
