Telangana Speaker escapes unhurt in lorry accident
Telangana Speaker S Madhusudanachary narrowly escaped a major accident in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district on Saturday. The mishap occurred when a lorry collided with the vehicle in which the Speaker was travelling in.
The accident took place when he was returning to Bhupalpally from his constituency, Ganapuram. According to the reports, the lorry driver is said to have dozed off behind the wheel which led to the accident.
After the collision, the Speaker’s convoy crashed into the roadside bushes. No one was hurt in the incident.
The police have registered a case and are investigating.
Madhusudanachary visited the Ganapuram village on Friday where he completed the Palle Nidra (sleepover in the village) and in the morning reviewed the progress of the development works.
