Check land problems before clearing

Kothagudem: The government has been implementing schemes to beneficiaries of all sectors, said Joint Collector M Ram Kishan, during Grievance Day programme at the Collectorate here on Monday. He received petitions from people and endorsed them to the officials concerned for clearing.

The Joint Collector said the government is giving priority to all eligible for various schemes, being implemented by it and advised the people to utilise all schemes. Directing the officials to clear the pending petitions, he also discussed the last week applications and their status.

Observing that majority of the applications received were about seeking pattas for podu lands in the district, the JC endorsed the issues to the the officer concerned. He suggested all the officials and staff to go to the field and observe land issues before clearing cases.  

District revenue officer Kiran Kumar, district rural development agency Project Director P Jagath Kumar Reddy, revenue divisional officer Ravinderanth and other district officials attended the programme.
