KMC to solve drinking water problems: Mayor Singh

Karimnagar: The Karimnagar Municipal Corporation (KMC) is taking all steps to solve the drinking water problems of people living under the city Corporation limits, stated Mayor Ravinder Singh. 

He participated in various developmental activities and laid foundation stone for the construction of water tank at a cost of Rs 25 lakhs and pump house at a cost of Rs 10 lakhs at 31st division in Bhagat Nagar ZP quarters in Karimnagar on Wednesday.

Several water tanks and pump houses were constructed in some divisions in the first phase and the remaining will be constructed during the second phase. Singh urged the people to cooperate with the officials in developmental activities that are under progress in the city. Once the water tanks and pump houses are completed, people living in 31, 32 and 35th divisions will get pure and safe drinking water.

Corporators Sunil Rao, Ravinder Goud, TRS leaders M Srinivas, D Ramulu, G Uma Rani, Divisional Engineer Yadagiri and Additional Engineer Venkatesh were present on the occasion.
