Blue kerosene smuggling racket busted; six arrested

Miryalguda: Miryalguda police on Tuesday busted a blue kerosene illegal transport racket and arrested six persons. According to official information, Miryalaguda police intercepted a kerosene tanker going towards Guntur without a permit during a vehicle check two months ago.

On direction of district Superintendent of Police, the police formed teams and took up investigation and zeroed in on alleged smugglers, identified as Kailash Prabhakar of Gajwel and Miryalaguda dealer Vanga Srinivas Raju and a few dealers. Miryalaguda Deputy Superintendent of Police Srinivas  on Tuesday paraded the arrested  persons in front of the media.
