SCCL workers stage protest

Kothagudem: The Singareni Collieries Workers’ Union on Thursday staged protest demanding redressal of their problems immediately. Union leaders Dummalapati Seshaiah, Veera Swamy and Vanga Venkat led the protest at the corporate office.  Speaking on the occasion, they demanded the the Singareni mangment to solve the issues of the workers.  

They said many issues were pending with the management for many months but the management is dragging its feet.  They also demanded the management to fill the vacant posts in all departments immediately.  They called all the workers and union leaders to join the siege programme at Kothagudem Head office August 13 and make it a grand success. 

Union leaders K. Rajaiah, T Seshagiri, S Sudhaker, M Ravi, MV Ravo, LV Ramana, S Srinivas, Dharma Rao, PChandraiah and others attended the programme.  After the protests dharna the union leaders submitted a memorandum to the officers.
