Congress minority cell demands quota in allotment of 2bhk houses

Khammam: City Congress Minority Committee Chairman Md Isaac here on Tuesday demanded the State government allot double bedroom houses to all eligible people belonging to Muslim Minorities.

A meeting was held with the representatives of the City Congress Minority Committee at Sanjeeva Reddy Bhavan here.Speaking at the meeting, Md Isaac said the TRS government had adopted negligent attitude towards Muslims. Earlier, the government had promised that it would reserve seven per cent of 2bhk houses for the Muslims. But, it failed to fulfil the promise, he said.

Before going to elections in 2014, the TRS party pr. But, the TRS party promised to work for betterment of Muslims. But, it failed to do so. During Khammam Corporation elections, the TRS leaders made false promises to Muslims, he said. The government remained a silent spectator to some of the TRS leades encroaching oon Wakf lands, he alleged. 

City Congress Minority Committee leaders Sd Gouse, Bade Miya, Mahaboob, Abbas Baig, S K Gouse, Kareem, Md Khaza, Rukmuddin and Pasha were present at the programme.
