Huzurnagar TRS in-charge threatens self-immolation

Huzurnagar (Suryapet): TRS Huzurngar Assembly constituency in-charge Kasoju Shankaramma here on Monday came down heavily on Minister Jagadish Reddy and stated that the latter has been preventing the party announcing candidates for Huzurnagar and Kodad constituencies.

Speaking to the media here after the party workers meeting, she asserted that entire State is looking towards Huzurnagar.  She said she had worked tirelessly and strengthened the party in the constituency.

She threatened to resort to self-immolation in the same way her son Srikanth Chary did at the height of Telangana agitation, if party denied ticket to her to contest from Huzurnagar.

Stating that Minister Jagadish Reddy was creating problems to her, she warned that she would stage protest demonstration in front of the Jagadish Reddy’s residence in Suryapet. She exuded confidence that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and his family members would do justice.
