Collector Dharmareddy takes part in World Elder’s Day
Tupran: Medak Collector Dharmareddy participated in the World Elder’s Day celebrations organised at community health centre on Monday. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the elders are being neglected by their children in the old age. They are forgetting the amount of hardwork by the parents made the children to excel in their lives.
The collector said a physiotherapy ward was set up in the hospital. He advised the elders to form a group at village level and make use of the facilities in the hospital. He felicitated elders and appreciated by offering sweets to the people who are healthy after 60 years of age. Medak Superintend Chandrasekhar, RDO ShyamPrakash , tahasildar Sridevi, National Health Project Programme Officer Jagannadh Reddy, Saraswathi, Padma from TATA Organisationdoctors, ANMs, Asha workers and old age people were present.
