Arekapudi Gandhi campaigns in Dargah village

Serilingampally: Former MLA Arekapudi Gandhi along with corporator Saibaba on Friday took up campaigning in Dargah village in Gachibowli division. Interacting with people, he described the TRS dispensation as ‘government of the poor’. 

Gandhi stated that he and voters would become partners in achieving caretaker chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s pet project of ‘Bangaru Telangana.’ He assured to create jobs for unemployed youth and explained the various attempts being made to create basic facilities in the State. The outgoing legislator listed the welfare schemes being implemented by the administrations like pensions, 24-hour power to farmers, ‘Shaadi Mubarak’, ‘Kalyana Lakshmi’ and provision of Manjira drinking water.

Among those who accompanied Gandhi were ward members Anjamma, Naresh, Jangayya Yadav, Indira, area committee members Raju Mudiraj, Swapna, TRS leaders N Srinivas, Yerlagadda Srinivas Yadav, Jagdish, Venkatesh, Ramesh Goud, Narayana, Srinu, Rahul, Satyanarayana and Sampath.
