Swami Paripoornananda joins BJP

Hyderabad: Making the speculations doing rounds until now Swami Paripoornananda, Seer of Sri Peetam in Kakinada has joined Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the presence of party chief Amit Shah at Delhi on Friday. 

According to party sources, Paripoornananda joining the party had been decided well in advance but he has chosen to take the plunge into politics on the auspicious occasion of Vijaya Dasami. The Swami had flown to Delhi and met Amit Shah, along with party general secretary Ram Madhav at the BJP national headquarters to join the party.

Welcoming the Swami into the party, BJP State chief spokesperson Krishna Saagar Rao said the State unit welcomes him into the party. He said Paripoornananda who has extensively served in the spiritual domain will surely help in strengthening the party in the State.

He said the Swami has joined to serve as an ordinary party worker in the party without any conditions and his services will be of great value to the party, he added.  Meanwhile, the party has already identified several places where Paripoornananda will address in the public meetings as part of the party’s election campaign.
